About Magnum Industrial Safety

At Magnum Industrial Safety, we believe that safety is every worker’s right, not an option.

“I graduated with a Master’s in Engineering in 2017 and joined the Colombo Port City Project as a Site Engineer in Ground Improvement. During this time, I was directly responsible for site safety and attended joint meetings with employers, consultants (CECB), and the UDA. It was here that I realized a critical gap: many safety products in the market did not meet proper standards, leaving workers exposed to unnecessary risks.

In 2021, after extensive research into the lack of standardized safety products in Sri Lanka, I founded Magnum Industrial Safety. Our goal was clear—to provide high-quality, industrial-standard safety equipment accessible to every worker. Partnering with one of the country’s leading footwear manufacturers, we began producing safety shoes, boots, and gumboots that comply with European standards (EN 20345/20346) in an ISO-certified factory.

From our first products, feedback from customers consistently highlights quality as the reason they choose Magnum. This reinforces our commitment to raising the standard of safety in Sri Lanka.”
